Why Revanth met only yellow media bosses?

Ever since he was appointed as the president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president, Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy had been meeting all important leaders of the party including seniors and juniors so as to give an impression that he would take everybody into confidence in running the party.

At the same time, Revanth also personally visited the houses of a few media barons, felicitated them with shawls and bouquets and sought their cooperation for his fight against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government.

But the new PCC chief was very selective in meeting the media heads.

He met Eenadu group chairman Ch Ramoji Rao, Andhra Jyothy managing director Vemuri Radhakrishna and TV5 chairman B R Naidu.

Needless to say, all the three media barons are known for their pro-Telugu Desam Party stand right from the beginning.

In fact, Andhra Jyothy and TV5 have been branded as yellow media by their rivals because of their blatant pro-Chandrababu Naidu stand.

Revanth did not meet the heads of other media houses like TV9 and NTV and other print media, because they do not support the TDP or Naidu openly or otherwise.

Of course, Sakshi is a bitter critic of Naidu, because of it is promoted by his rival Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. But at least in Telangana, it is neutral as the TDP has no presence here.

So, why was Revanth so choosy in meeting the media heads? The reason is obvious: despite taking over as the PCC chief, he still has loyalty towards Chandrababu Naidu.

He doesn’t forget to greet Naidu on his birthdays every year.

Maybe, these media heads, too, would be giving advices to him from time to time to tackle not only Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao but also Andhra CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy!
