Why Owaisi Called Them 'Tubelights'?

AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi strongly criticized the BJP after its MP Nishikant Dubey made comments against the Supreme Court.

Owaisi called BJP leaders "tubelights" and accused them of threatening the judiciary and pushing the country towards a religious war.

He referred to Article 142 of the Constitution, saying it was created by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and should not be disrespected. Owaisi warned Prime Minister Modi that the country would not forgive such actions.

Congress leader BV Srinivas also attacked Dubey, claiming that he wouldn’t speak against the Supreme Court or Chief Justice without orders from senior BJP leaders.

He accused Dubey of using religion for political gain while showing disrespect toward the judiciary.

Dubey had said the Supreme Court was encouraging religious conflict and stepping beyond its powers. He questioned its role in religious site disputes.

Later, BJP president JP Nadda distanced the party from Dubey’s comments, calling them personal opinions.
