In a tragic incident, Gurrapu Shylesh, a 25-year-old student from Nizamabad district studying in the United States, died in a road accident on Saturday.
The accident occurred when Shylesh's vehicle was hit by another car coming from the opposite direction.
Reportedly, the other vehicle collided with the petrol tank of Shylesh's car at Shelton intersection in New Jersey.
As a result of the collision, a fire broke out in Shylesh's car, and he tragically lost his life in the ensuing blaze.
Shylesh hailed from Bada Bheemgal village in Bheemgal mandal. He had traveled to the US for higher studies in September last year and was pursuing Biomedical Engineering at the University of Bristol in New Jersey.
Shylesh's friends promptly informed his family about the devastating road accident, casting a pall of gloom over his native village of Bada Bheemgal on Sunday.
Shylesh's father, Gurrapu Sathyam, is a Gulf returnee, and he, along with his wife and two daughters, resides in Nizamabad.
Meanwhile, several Telugu students, including Shylesh's friends, rushed to the accident spot to pay their final respects.
