For the first time in the separate state of Telangana, it was a treat for many Telugu people, including those in Andhra Pradesh, to watch the Assembly session on television.
In fact, since the formation of the separate state and the TRS ruling for about 10 years, there has been no opposition in the Assembly. The ruling leaders consistently thwarted those in minority numbers.
The only noteworthy moments from the Telangana Assembly were the verbal exchanges between Akbaruddin Owaisi and KTR, but nothing more.
However, after a decade, with Revanth Reddy assuming the role of Chief Minister, the assembly sessions have become a spectacle for the people.
What's even more interesting is that the discussions so far have been respectful without crossing any decorum limits.
Revanth Reddy as CM and KTR as the leader of the opposition party are earning positive points from viewers.
Revanth exhibits democratic spirit, urges speaker to give mike to BRS MLAs which caught the attention of many. This decency and responsibility stands out to be ideal.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the state.
