Revanth Warns KCR of Cherlapally Jail

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy asserted that he wouldn't hesitate to send BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao to Cherlapalli jail and emphasized that he wasn't as tolerant as Congress senior leader K. Jana Reddy.

In response to Rao's recent use of abusive language against Revanth Reddy and the Congress government during district visits, the Chief Minister remarked, “I am not like Jana Reddy, I am Revanth Reddy. If you continue to provoke me with your abusive language, I will ensure you end up in Cherlapalli jail, eating chippa koodu (jail food)."

Revanth Reddy noted that despite Rao's verbal attacks in Nalgonda and Karimnagar, he had exercised restraint. However, Rao had "crossed all limits" during his press conference in Suryapet.

"We showed patience when your hip was fractured and your daughter went to jail. But if you persist with your provocations, we won’t remain calm," Revanth Reddy warned.

Addressing Rao, Revanth Reddy urged him not to incite Congress workers, stating that they would retaliate fiercely.

"If Congress workers decide to act against you, they will strip you of your dignity," he added.

Revanth Reddy challenged Rao to seek votes in areas where the BRS had built double-bedroom houses for the poor, contrasting it with Congress' commitment to areas with Indiramma houses.

He accused Rao of causing "hundred years of destruction" during his ten-year rule in Telangana.

Appealing to voters, Revanth Reddy urged them to ensure Congress' victory in the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state, citing the necessity of funds and projects from the Congress-led Central government post-election.

Expressing confidence in the Tukkuguda sentiment, Revanth Reddy predicted it would work in favor of Congress, similar to its impact during the Assembly polls last September.

In a sharp critique of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Revanth Reddy coined "NaMo" as "Nammithe Mosam" (deceiver of believers) and urged party cadres to dismantle the BJP at the Centre, akin to the BRS in Telangana.

Accusing Modi of failing to fulfill major promises made during the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha campaigns, such as job creation, doubling farmer incomes, and housing for all, Revanth Reddy emphasized the need for a change in leadership at the Centre.
