Revanth Reddy is known for his shrewd political acumen, which mesmerizes many Congress leaders. It is known that BJP and Congress are strong opponents party-wise.
But Revanth Reddy, being the Congress Chief Minister, is almost dealing independently in the lines of Jagan Mohan Reddy of Andhra Pradesh and Naveen Patnaik of Odisha.
In fact, Jagan and Naveen have their respective own parties, so their dealings with the BJP supremo don't carry any shock or suprirse value. But Revanth Reddy, as the Congress CM, is leading in his own way in relation to Narendra Modi without caring much about his high command. He draws lines between PM Modi and BJP head Modi.
Revanth Reddy is giving all sorts of respect to PM Modi, though he has points to oppose him as BJP head Modi.
This is definitely a totally different approach from what KCR had followed in the last ten years of his rule. He considered Modi as his opponent and kept on throwing his feudal dominance at him.
Chandrababu also did the same, curried Modi personally, and finally tasted the bitterness of his own deeds.
But Revanth Reddy is looking as a unique piece, calling Modi his "elder brother," caring two hoots to what Sonia Gandhi would feel about this. Revanth is paving the path for his political growth by not messing up with Modi foolishly like how KCR did.
