Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy defended his outspoken approach, stating he would not tone down his language despite holding a high position.
Speaking at an event in Hyderabad, he said critics using harsh words against him should not expect silence in return.
He emphasized that his temperament has remained the same throughout his political journey and declared he would always be "garam" (assertive), never "naram" (soft) or "besharam" (shameless).
He contrasted his leadership with the previous administration, claiming he promotes democracy by allowing protests and engaging with the public, unlike his predecessors who governed from farmhouses.
Reddy highlighted his humble background, stating his experiences have given him a deeper understanding of people’s struggles.
Reddy also criticized BRS leaders, warning them against obstructing progress.
He defended hosting the Miss World event, calling it an economic opportunity, and dismissed BRS claims that people were unhappy with his governance, attributing such criticisms to jealousy.
