A video showing a woman farmer confronting BRS working president and Sircilla MLA KTR went viral on social media. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 4.
The farmer, named B Laxmi, had her land acquired for a medical college during the time BRS was in power.
The exchange took place during KTR's interaction with locals as part of his political campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state on May 13.
During the interaction, Laxmi, after shaking hands with the MLA, expressed that she had lost 2 acres of land.
In response, KTR assured her, "Don't get tense, I will get your land back," prompting Laxmi to ask, "When?" This exchange amused the BRS cadres and locals who were present.
Laxmi explained to KTR the difficulties she faced due to the loss of her land.
KTR reiterated his commitment, saying, "You will get your land as you signed… you will get it."
