Reddy kicks his own party in the butt with his tweet!

A P Jithender Reddy is a senior and financially strong political leader from Mahabubnagar district in Telangana.

He won as a Lok Sabha member from the Mahabubnagar constituency on a BJP ticket in 1999. However, he did not contest the 2004 Lok Sabha elections.

In 2009, Jithender Reddy quit the BJP and joined TRS during the general elections. He sacrificed his Mahabubnagar seat for KCR in 2009, but when he was shifted to the Chevella Lok Sabha seat, he lost.

In 2014, KCR fielded Jithender from the Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat, and he emerged victorious. However, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, KCR denied Jithender a ticket and opted for Manne Srinivas Reddy in his place. Angered by this decision, Jithender quit TRS and returned to the BJP in 2019.

Since then, he has been working sincerely for the growth of the BJP in Mahabubnagar district.

However, the recent infighting within the party, involving BJP State President Bandi Sanjay, Etala Rajender, and Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, has worsened the situation within the Telangana BJP unit.

Etala and Rajgopal, who joined the BJP from TRS and Congress respectively, are pressuring the BJP's national leadership to remove Bandi Sanjay from the post of BJP Telangana President.

They argue that Sanjay lacks the capability to defeat KCR in the upcoming Assembly polls. Etala aims to be appointed as BJP Telangana President, a move supported by Rajgopal Reddy.

This infighting has been damaging the image and reputation of the BJP for the past few weeks. In response, Jithender made a tweet on Thursday, which created a sensation not just within the BJP but also in the entire political circles.

Jithender tweeted a hilarious video depicting a man kicking a buffalo in the butt to make it climb into a lorry.

He posted, "This is the treatment required for BJP Telangana leadership," and tagged BJP's national leaders BL Santosh, Sanjay Bansal, and the official BJP Twitter handles.

Jithender's tweet has fueled speculations that he may quit the BJP soon and join the Congress.
