An Andhra politician who contested in the recent general elections had borrowed Rs 10 crore from a businessman. After losing the election, the politician needed to repay the loan.
To settle the debt, he offered to transfer his flat in My Home Bhooja, located on the ground floor. Typically, ground-floor flats in this complex do not cost more than Rs 18,000 to Rs 19,000 per square foot. However, the politician proposed valuing the flat at Rs 28,000 per square foot to match the total loan amount.
Surprisingly, the businessman agreed to the arrangement, and the registration was completed at the stated price.
Thus, both parties proceeded with this unusual transaction, with one generously offering the property and the other accepting it at a premium price.
