Kalvakuntla Kavitha was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate today amidst fury in Hyderabad.
Her brother KTR tried to argue with the ED officials, but nothing stopped the arrest of Kavitha.
This is something strange and unexpected as it happened almost just a day before the election notification is about to come.
There were slogans of "Down down BJP" at the residence of Kavitha when this arrest happened. But what is the political motive for this arrest?
The public on social media is coming up with different versions.
A netizen wrote, "This is a plan by BRS to create some sympathy for its pet-party BRS. As BRS is struggling to come back after its debacle in the last 2023 assembly elections, the party needed some sympathy wave. So BJP tried to fulfill it with this arrest."
Another netizen wrote completely differently, stating, "BRS is on deathbed in Telangana. So to hit the final nail into its coffin, BJP orchestrated this arrest to show to the people how murky the BRS is with regard to its involvement in scams."
There is a third version as well that expresses the doubt as per this post of a netizen, "Generally, BJP is not touching any party that is suffering badly with defeat. But surprisingly it poked BRS. The political reason behind this is clueless."
Whatever it is, Kavitha's arrest in Telangana is sparking a debate all over.
