The fight over 'common capital' Hyderabad between Chief Ministers of AP and TS, N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhar Rao which subsided in 2015 after Naidu fled away from Hyderabad to Amaravathi fearing 'cash for vote case' booked by KCR, has surfaced yet again.
Telangana police conducted raids on the office of Bluefrog Mobile Technologies in Madhapur in Hyderabad on Saturday based on a complaint filed by a data analyst T Lokeswara Reddy, alleging that the company which developed "Seva Mitra App" for TDP, stole Government's welfare schemes beneficiaries data from the AP government database and processed it without consent, to help TDP win polls.
In response, the management of the company filed another complaint in Hyderabad with the Andhra police stating that one of their employees, who was taken for questioning by Cyberabad police were missing.
Soon, the Andhra police arrived at the company office and took control of the premises which led to fight between TS and AP police.
KCR is learnt to be angry at AP police interfering in Hyderabad, which is the capital of Telangana.
However, Naidu claims that Hyderabad is the 'common capital' for AP and TS for 10 years as per AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, and AP has all the powers in Hyderabad.
KCR argues that after AP government shifted Secretariat, Assembly and finally High Court to Amaravathi from Hyderabad, the Hyderabad ceased to exist as common capital for TS and AP for all practical purposes and remains only the TS capital.
Naidu alleges that KCR has colluded with Jagan to defeat TDP in upcoming general elections and to achieve this goal, they are harassing Andhra industrialists in Hyderabad, who are supporting TDP.
KCR says Naidu should realise that Hyderabad is not a common capital for AP to commit crimes by AP in Hyderabad and he will not sit quiet if AP still claims Hyderabad as common capital.
