Poor Chandrababu Naidu is left with no work after his party TDP has been completely decimated both in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The TDP chief and former AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu rushed to Hyderabad from Amaravathi (though YSRCP leaders and supporters say he fled away from Amaravathi fearing Jagan) on the same day when Jagan took oath as new CM of AP.
When Naidu reached airport in Hyderabad, he was shocked to see 'ward level Telangana TDP leaders' in Hyderabad welcoming him with empty hands.
Let alone, handful of state-level TTDP leaders who still continue in the party for namesake, even district, mandal-level leaders were missing to welcome or talk to Naidu.
After Naidu reached his residence in Jubilee Hills, his personal staff repeatedly called few state-level TTDP leaders to come and meet Naidu.
Under pressure from this, they went to Naidu's residence unwillingly.
After seeing them, Naidu started making 'tall claims' on strengthening TDP in Telangana and vowed to bring TDP back to power in Telangana.
TTDP leaders can't stop laughing at Naidu's comments.
They thought Naidu was cracking jokes in Telangana to come out of the shock given by Jagan in Andhra.
TDP, dubbed as "Andhra party" has been vanished in Telangana. Worse more is even "Andhra people" deserted TDP in Andhra recently.
Despite this, Naidu told TTDP leaders that he will spend two days a week in Hyderabad and strengthen TDP in Telangana.
Who are left with TTDP now for Naidu to strengthen party in Telangana.
Right from gross-root activists level, sarpanch level to state-level leaders have migrated to either TRS or Congress.
Not even a handful of leaders left in TTDP now. Even those, are making efforts to join BJP or Congress anytime.
TDP did not contest even Lok Sabha elections this time as there were no candidates, the first such worst situation for TDP since its formation some four decades ago.
Ignoring all these realities, Naidu says he will strengthen TDP in Telangana and bring it back to power.
Poor TTDP leaders and activists, who are not even handful and still continue in TDP out of love for Senior NTR, are only enjoying looking at Naidu cracking jokes in Telangana while some feel pity for him unable to draw comparison between the Naidu they have seen between 1995-2004 with the likes of Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Tony Blair etc and now.
