Nag Lodges Criminal Case On Konda Surekha

The Telugu film industry has erupted in response to Telangana Minister Konda Surekha's recent comments linking BRS leader KT Rama Rao to the divorce of popular actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

The remarks, which included allegations of phone tapping and blackmail, have drawn sharp criticism from many in the film fraternity, whereas netizens also expressed their dissatisfaction vehemently.

The film industry has shown solidarity, rallying behind Nagarjuna's family during this tumultuous time. Surekha is facing negativity from the own party leaders as well.

Nagarjuna who previously expressed his outrage and condemn the comments of the Telangana Minister has now filed a criminal and defamation case against Surekha at Langar Houz police station under U/s 356 BNS.

“The statement falsely claims and misleads the public into believing that the cause of the dive. between Naga Chaitanya (the complainant's son) and his ex-wife, Ms. Samantha, was linked to a purported illicit demand made by Shri K.T. Rama Rao (KTR).

Specifically, the accused has insinuated, in a derogatory manner, that Shri K.T. Rama Rao requested a meeting with Ms. Samantha for inappropriate purposes, and further implied that the complainant supported these alleged interests of Shri K.T. Rama Rao in exchange for not demolishing the N-Convention Centre, owned by the complainant's family.

It is alleged that the complainant and his family pressured Ms. Samantha to comply, which ultimately led to the divorce,” reads the complaint.

Earlier, KTR also lodged case against Konda Surekha.
