Counting of votes begins in Huzurabad by-election in Telangana at SRR Degree College, Karimnagar.
In all, 2,05,236 votes were polled in the by-election held on October 30, accounting for 86.64 per cent.
Initially, 753 postal ballots are being counted in the first half-an-hour.
Counting of votes takes place, in all, in 22 rounds. In each round, 9-10,000 votes would be counted.
In the by-poll to Badvel assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh, counting of votes began at 8 am at Balayogi Gurukul School.
Out of 2,15,392 votes, 1,46,564 votes were polled.
In all, 12 rounds of counting is expected to take place. Results might be out by 1 pm.
