Telangana Congress party working president A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday made a sensational comment on the BJP leaders, stating that some of the party leaders were hand in glove with the ruling TRS.
Revanth said there were two groups in the BJP – one group clandestinely supports chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and the other, which opposes him. Both the groups have failed to understand the true colours of KCR, he said.
“All these days, the BJP leaders were of the impression that they can manage KCR. After the Siddipet incident, they have now realized how dangerous the TRS president is,” he said.
The TRS working president suspected that Union minister of state for home G Kishan Reddy had a match-fixing with the TRS chief.
“When the BJP leaders were raising hue and cry over the seizure of cash from party candidate’s kin, Kishan Reddy has not intervened,” he reminded.
Revanth said as the Union minister, Kishan Reddy had the powers to call the Collector and Police Commissioner to know the facts and order an inquiry.
“Why didn’t he do that? Why is this match-fixing with TRS?” he asked.
Revanth also wondered why the Union home ministry did not provide adequate security to BJP MP and state party president Bandi Sanjay.
“When it can provide central security to YSR Congress MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju, why can’t it provide the same to Telangana BJP MP?” he asked.
Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy wrote to Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy seeking a report on Siddipet cash seizure incident.
He alleged that the TRS government was resorting to misuse of power in Dubbak by-elections.
“We shall bring it to the notice of the state and central election commissions,” he said.
