“Yes”, says Telaganan Congress president, A Reventh Reddy. He predicts that KCR would go for the early polls once again.
August 2022 is what Reventh Reddy says the possible time for KCR to go for early polls.
Interestingly, KCR had gone for early polls in 2018 in his first term too, without completing the term.
The early polls strategy had helped him get the advantage of second term and the same strategy is being planned for 2022, according to Revanth Reddy.
Reventh Reddy took a dig at his critics in the ruling TRS and said that majority of the TRS ministers are from the TDP.
“If Congress in Telangana is branded as Telugu Congress, with half of the leaders and ministers, the TRS too could be called Telugu Rastra Samithi,” Revanth Reddy said.
He further added that the TDP had given political life to KCR and KTR and the same is the case for majority of the leaders in Telaganan.
“Majority of politicians are either from Congress and TDP. The leaders have their roots in these two parties. TRS is filled with leaders from TDP and Congress,” Revanth Reddy asserted.
He ridiculed the TRS leaders for making baseless charges against him and his political roots and sought to advise the leaders to look at their roots before pointing a finger at him.
