Known for his aggressive comments and loud-mouth nature, Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party president Bandi Sanjay once again spewed venom on Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Sanjay went to New Delhi to meet the party leadership, within hours of KCR returning from the national capital after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah, triggering speculations that the BJP high command is working out a plan to checkmate the TRS president.
“Very soon, KCR will be thrown behind bars for his acts of omission and commission. His tricks of hoodwinking the people with his sudden Delhi visit and attempting to placate the BJP leadership in Delhi will not work,” Sanjay said.
Sanjay told reporters that he had already predicted well in advance that the chief minister would rush to New Delhi soon after the GHMC elections to please the Prime Minister and the home minister.
“Even though he bowed his head and prostrated before our bosses, he won’t be forgiven. What happens inside is different from what he reveals. His Delhi visit is only to divert the attention of the people of Telangana from his party’s debacle in the GHMC elections,” Sanjay said.
The state BJP chief accused KCR of looting public money by escalating the cost of Kaleshwaram project indiscriminately.
“When we question the same, he says Telangana is his state and he is spending the state funds. Is Telangana KCR’s father’s property?” he asked.
