Even as six-guarantees announced by the Congress party during the public meeting held at Tukkuguda a few days ago are fast catching up with the people, Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is planning to come out more attractive sops for the people.
KCR’s nephew and state finance minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday announced that KCR will unveil the election manifesto of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi at a massive public meeting to be held at Warangal on October 16.
“It will come as a big shocker for Opposition parties, but at the same time, will have major surprises and good news for the people of Telangana,” Harish Rao said.
The manifesto would have good news in abundance for the people, especially women and there would be more benefits to those who are already enjoying many benefits from the government.
“The manifesto will be in such a way that it would be a mind block for Opposition parties since they would not be able to match the BRS,” he said.
Stating that KCR is always a source of hope for the people, Harish Rao said the Chief Minister had fulfilled every promise he had made to the people of Telangana and in fact, had gone beyond the promises introducing multiple welfare schemes.
None of the schemes and welfare programmes that were being implemented in Telangana could be found in Karnataka or any other Congress-ruled State.
The Congress manifesto in any election was seldom put to implementation, he pointed out, adding that Chandrashekhar Rao was all set to score a hat-trick emerging victorious for the third time.
