Prem Kumar is the candidate contesting from Kukatpally as Janasena's candidate in the upcoming Telangana election.
Purandeshwari also campaigned for him in the constituency on behalf of BJP as a part of the BJP-Janasena alliance. Pawan Kalyan is yet to come to this constituency to campaign for his candidate.
Meanwhile, Yalla Varaprasad, the President of the Kapu Community, wrote an open letter to all the Kamma voters and Kamma leaders in Kukatpally indirectly warning Chandrababu Naidu.

Prasad also mentioned that Prem Kumar, the present candidate, supported Suhasini of TDP in the 2018 election, and as a gesture of gratitude, all Kammas should vote for Prem Kumar now to elect Janasena, which is a Kapu-led party.
Prasad warned that if Kammas fail to bring victory to the Janasena candidate in Kukatpally, then Janasena has the power to impact the prospects of TDP in AP and defeat all the TDP candidates in 2024 elections. This is a direct warning. The letter is circulating in social media groups.
