Known for his controversial comments and aggressive nature, senior YSR Congress party leader and Andhra Pradesh excise minister K Narayana Swamy once again triggered uproar in the party with his sensational comments.
Narayana Swamy is one of the 11 ministers who was retained by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in the recent cabinet reshuffle. He has also been continuing as the deputy chief minister.
Apparently, Narayana Swamy, who represents Gangadhara Nellore assembly constituency in Chittoor district, has not been taking it kindly the domination of Reddy community in the district.
He told the reporters that the Reddy leaders within the party in Chittoor district are split into groups and are fighting among themselves.
“This has also led to a split in the Scheduled Castes, causing a lot of damage to the party,” he said.
Stating that Reddys are capable of doing anything for their interests, Narayana Swamy said without Reddys, he won’t be able to win the elections.
“They should give up their fight. They are dividing the Dalits also into groups. If they end their fight, the Dalits also would come together,” he said.
He is said to be of the view that Reddy community was specifically target him. Maybe, he has issues with Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy in the district.
