It is no secret that Vemuri Radhakrishna, managing director of Andhra Jyothy daily and ABN-Andhra Jyothy channel, is known for his utter contempt for YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Every Sunday, Radhakrishna is spitting venom against Jagan and his government in his weekly column – Kotha Paluku – in Andhra Jyothy daily. And now, he has got yet another opportunity to run down the YSRC chief using the latter’s sister Y S Sharmila.
Radhakrishna, who is featuring Sharmila in the latest season of his weekly programme – Open Heart with RK – on ABN-Andhra Jyothy to be telecast on September 26, made every attempt to prove that there are differences within Jagan’s family.
The “promo” released by ABN-Andhra Jyothy channel on Friday reveals that Sharmila seems to have confided to Radhakrishna about differences with her brother.
“I am not Jagananna’s arrow at all. I am just Rajanna’s daughter,” she is seen telling Radhakrishna.
She also told how she felt bad about Jagan’s advisor and YSRC leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s comment that she had nothing to do with the YSRC.
“Everybody knows how I had strived for the party day and night. It hurt me when Ramakrishna Reddy said I had nothing to do with the party,” she said.
Radhakrishna posed several straight forward questions to Sharmila and it is not exactly known from the promo what she exactly replied to them.
He asked her whether she had floated the party only because of her differences with her brother and whether she thought there was any political space in Telangana.
He also asked her as to who would become the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in the event of Jagan going to jail in the CBI case. “Will it be Sharmila, or Vijayamma or Bharati?”
What answer Sharmila has given to Radhakrishna has not been shown in the promo. In any case, it is pretty evident that Sharmila’s interview to Radhakrishna has bared her serious differences with Jagan.
