Telangana high court on Monday once again expressed serious unhappiness over handling the Coronavirus situation in the state by the K Chandrasekhar Rao government.
“Don’t test our patience. This is the last warning and we are giving you a final chance to bring the situation under control,” the high court told the state government.
The court ordered that the official bulletin being released by the state medical and health department should have all the details and the department should restore the official website which was shutdown on the pretext of technical issues.
It also asked the department to arrange a WhatsApp number for complaints from the patients and give it extensive publicity make extensive campaign about the same. More toll-free numbers should be introduced to receive complaints from the people.
Similarly, the government was asked to disclose the details of bed position in the hospitals and also about rapid antigen tests being undertaken.
It suggested that district collectors should be directed to disclose details of the Covid-19 cases in their respective districts.
The high court also directed chief secretary and secretary, medical and health to appear before the judges on July 28.
