TRS government in Telangana is earning the name of being a "government run by Facebook Baap and Twitter Beta'.
CM KCR and his on KTR seem to be competing on social media through Facebook and Twitter.
While KCR has been responding to the posts put up by people on his Facebook, KTR is always very active on Twitter.
KCR recently took swift action on a Facebook post uploaded by a farmer in Macherial district who complained about huge corruption in revenue department and revenue officials registering his agriculture land on the name of others by taking bribe.
In a bid to garner cheap publicity before Lok Sabha polls, KCR directed district collector and revenue officials to resolve this issue without inquiring whether the post uploaded by the farmer was correct or not.
This backfired as a woman, who owned this land, took KCR to task for acting like a 'filmy hero' in initiating the action without doing proper inquiry by posting her audio recording on social media. Netizens expressed ire at KCR for his 'publicity stunts' before LS polls.
KCR's Facebook account has been receiving hundreds of such complaints every day, who believe that KCR only responds to social media.
KCR is known to be 'inaccessible' to anyone. So people are banking on Facebook to reach out to KCR.
On the other hand, his son KTR is trying to resolve grievances of people through Twitter. He too became 'inaccessible' to people these days.
With TRS government running on social media, people started describing it as 'sarkaar of Facebook Baap and Twitter Beta'.
