Sacked Telangana health minister and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender has made it clear that he won’t be joining any other political party, at least for now, but would fight against the KCR government independently.
In an interview to a television channel, Rajender also asserted that he won’t be resigning from his MLA post in the near future, at least till the Coronavirus pandemic subsides in the state.
“If at all I happen to resign later and contest the by-election from Huzurabad again, I will contest as an independent. I won’t be contesting from any other party. I have already prepared a plan of action after discussing with my followers and media persons close to me,” Rajender said.
Stating that he had friends in all the political parties, Rajender said he was meeting all those friends one after the other.
“Whatever might be my future, I will continue friendship with all of them. Even in the past, I have not had any rivalry with any leader from any party and I always maintained friendly relations with everybody,” he said.
Rajender made it clear that there was no question of compromising with KCR again.
“I am like a bullet that has come out of the gun. I cannot go back into the gun. Even if KCR himself calls me and tries to make a patch-up with me, I won’t go,” he said.
He alleged that KCR was a changed man now and he had no respect for those who fought with him.
“There were many instances of even the ministers being refused appointment. This hurts us. There are no answers with KCR on several questions asked by the people,” he said.
Rajender said like him, finance minister T Harish Rao, too, had suffered a lot of humiliation in the TRS.
“This is a fact. There was an occasion when Harish Rao and me had to burst into tears after facing humiliation in Pragathi Bhavan. I can quote many such instances,” he said.
