Eatala apologised to KCR for his revolt?

Did former Telangana state health minister Eatala Rajender plead with Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to forgive him for indulging in anti-party activities?

A letter purported to have been written by Rajender to KCR before he was sacked from the state cabinet has surfaced in a section of media and has gone viral in the social media.

Rajender was quick to condemn the reports and deny having written any such letter to KCR apologising for his “mistakes.”

He warned of legal action against such rumour-mongers.

However, the letter has done enough damage to Rajender’s reputation.

Going by the letter, Rajender has admitted that he had done a mistake by conducting a couple of meetings at Pune and Bengaluru which was attended by a few more TRS leaders from Peddapalli district.

He said he was misled by some forces in the party to conduct the meetings where he allegedly made some strong comments against the TRS leadership.

He also admitted how KCR had given him a number of opportunities to rise to the level of a top leader in the party.

“I cannot forget how you guided me during the Telangana movement and treated me like a younger brother. I would not have been in this position without you. I admit my mistake of creating troubles for the party,” he said.

Stating that he would continue to remain loyal to KCR and the party, Rajender appealed to the party president to forgive him and allow him to continue in the party.

“I told the same to Ram (KTR) garu. And I don’t expect anything from the party. Please give me a chance to correct myself,” the letter quoting Rajender said.

It is not exactly known what the source of the letter is. Rajender suspects the letter could be the handiwork of the TRS leaders to malign his image.
