With buzz on the ground that the BRS Government is going to come back to power with a thumping majority in the upcoming elections, Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has already begun confabulations with his party seniors on the blueprint for the next Government.
According to multiple reports that have been conveyed to the Chief Minister, the Telangana public have decided to vote in favour of the BRS as they want a stable Government and secure environment.
What also seems to be working in its favour, according to the surveys, is that the Congress and the BJP have not been able to live up to its poll promises in other States, which has given more credibility to the BRS.
With victory almost assured, KCR has embarked on strategic planning, including the allocation of key ministerial positions and the prioritisation of developmental schemes for the upcoming term. The Chief Minister has made it clear that unhindered progress, a hallmark of the BRS's Governance, would continue to be the party's guiding principle.
Among the top list of priorities, the Rythu Bandhu scheme which would be increased to Rs 16,000 per acre year with initial hike of Rs 11,000. Focus would also be on KCR Bheema where 93 lakh Below Poverty Line (BPL) families would be insured upto Rs 5 lakh.
The flagship 2BHK houses too would be given priority in KCR's third term with one lakh houses to be built in Hyderabad under the Gruha Lakshmi scheme.
Among other priorities, removal of restrictions on assigned lands and implementation of Telangana Annapurna Scheme to provide Rice (Sanna Biyyam) to all ration card holders would be some of the important files that would be cleared in the first Cabinet meeting of KCR's Government.
