The war of words between the Telangana ministers and their Andhra Pradesh counterparts over Krishna water disputes seem to be getting intensified with every passing day.
On Monday, Telangana tourism minister V Srinivas Goud reacted strongly to the counter attack by Andhra Pradesh civil supplies minister Kodali Nani who objected to Goud describing former chief minister late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy as a “raakshasudu” (demon).
“Nani should control his tongue. He has two houses in Hyderabad and he is doing business from Telangana. He should think twice before making any comment on Telangana. What will be his position, if the people of Telangana revolt?” Goud warned.
The Telangana minister also attacked YSRC MLC C Ramachandraiah for instigating the people.
“You enjoy the benefits in Telangana and speak against its interests. Don’t get into troubles with such comments,” he said.
He said the Telangana leaders won’t care for positions and even lives in protecting the interests of Telangana.
“We shall stop the projects being illegally constructed by Andhra on Krishna river. We shall not allow the projects in Telangana go dry,” Goud asserted.
