Pawan Kalyan once again gave some foolish statements, exposing his lack of understanding.
He proclaimed that if he were to assume power, his primary objective would be to obstruct the state's English medium education system.
Dismissing the necessity of investing in schemes like TOEFL and the IB education system in government schools, he claimed that simply watching YouTube videos would suffice for acquiring proficiency in the language.
He went on to cite examples of prominent figures, highlighting their lack of English fluency, including Minister Botsa Satyanarana and CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. Even the former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam wasn't spared from his comments on his English accent.
However, it's imperative to note that such rhetoric is unlikely to earn Pawan Kalyan any additional votes; on the contrary, it might cost him dearly.
With these statements, the public's attention is directed towards Pawan Kalyan's resistance to the introduction of proper English education in government schools.
One can't help but question the reasoning behind Pawan Kalyan's speeches. It appears he may be parroting the scripts handed to him by the TDP, without thoroughly analyzing the ramifications.
Meanwhile, the TDP cleverly skirts controversy by limiting their own statements to more reasonable grounds, leaving Pawan Kalyan as the focal point of ridicule.
There's also speculation that certain members within the TDP, primarily from a specific community, are discouraging English medium education out of fear that future generations may shift their focus from regional newspapers like Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy. If that is true, there wouldnt be any bigger fools than them.
Contrary to the misconceptions, English medium schools in Andhra Pradesh have been in operation for decades, yet they continue to teach Telugu as first language.
It is to be noted that the readership of English newspapers in the state has been comparatively low even now.
Drawing a parallel from the film industry, where established actors often choose to produce safer projects, leaving riskier ventures to other producers, a similar dynamic seems to be at play between the TDP and Pawan Kalyan. TDP folks seem to be making Pawan a 'bakara' making him read their script!
