Opinion: Over Hatred Of YCP- Over Action Of TDP

It might be Jagan Mohan Reddy or Chandrababu Naidu; their family members and friends would undoubtedly feel anguish when they are imprisoned. Conversely, the respective family members, along with their followers, would certainly celebrate upon their release.

Unfortunately, it is disheartening to see the news publications of both sides ridiculing each other's pain in their articles in the past and in the present.

Although the trend was initiated by pro-TDP media, demonizing Jagan Mohan Reddy over a decade ago when he was arrested, even Jagan Mohan Reddy's own news outlet followed suit.

One could argue that this was a form of "revenge," but repeating the same mistake doesn't reflect a mature political landscape.

Sakshi mentioned as if CBN doesn't deserve the reception from prison similar to that of a freedom fighter. This is indicating excessive hatred more than anything else. Because this is a common phenomenon from family and friends.

Indeed, as mentioned earlier, even the pro-TDP media wrote in a similar ridiculing manner when Jagan was released from jail long ago.

Simultaneously, TDP supporters are also going overboard by releasing full-page advertisements in newspapers with captions like "Satyameva Jayate" and "Boss is Back."

These actions are unnecessary and are likely to evoke disgust among the general public. Firstly, CBN did not receive acquittal or unconditional release from prison. This is a conditional "interim bail" where he is required to return to prison after completing his cataract surgery.

Many believe that he may not return to prison as the health grounds have been utilized as an excuse for 'bail', be it interim or not. They suggest that he would play the same card repeatedly and avoid arrests for the next few months until the election code comes into play.

However, Jagan Mohan Reddy's legal team is determined to incarcerate him after the completion of the term of his current interim bail. That's a different game.

Garnering sympathy from TDP sympathizers alone is not sufficient here. CBN should be able to gain support from neutral voters and, if possible, at least a portion of the anti-TDP voters as well. Only then does he have a chance of winning in the elections. To achieve this, he and his team need to maintain silence and decorum. Making statements like "Boss is Back," and "Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha" could lead to adverse consequences.

To conclude, currently the TDP members are issuing statements such as "Satyameva Jayate." However, if he returns to prison, will they then state "Asatyameva Jayate"? Will the so-called "truth" then transform into a "lie"?
