Chandrababu Naidu and his party cadre must be mourning today. The reason is the election result in five states where BJP made a fantastic show. The one and only closest ally of Chandrababu at the center is Congress as of now which was wiped out miserably.
Chandrababu never faced election without the so-called 'poththu'. He always used the support of successful and powerful allies to sit on the CM's chair in his entire career.
He was in fact waiting to see the downfall of its enemy party BJP at the national level. Had that happened, then his plan was to pull Pawan Kalyan who is on the side of BJP to his side.
But today's result is like a death blow to TDP. He has no scope to win the 2024 election with his own might. Pawan Kalyan cannot dare to shun BJP at this moment after seeing the BJP wave in the north.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is politically very strong at present. BJP is also indirectly supporting him to wipe out TDP completely.
NTR succumbed to the backstab of Chandrababu in 1996. But Narendra Modi who ate a similar backstab from Chandrababu just before the 2019 general elections has been in vengeance mode. He is in no mood to forgive Chandrababu at all. Moreover he wants to see the death of TDP.
TDP, which was hopeful of breathing on its own without a ventilator until yesterday, went into despair today. The fear engulfing the TDP leader and cadre is to face a knockout in 2024 elections. Well, nothing can be done than paying a silent tribute to TDP.
