This is the first time to see the worst criticism for Chiranjeevi's film. The trolls are very bad on social media.
It is true that the film disappointed the fans and audience alike. While many fingers are pointing on Koratala, the industry sources from directors' side are pointing fingers on the Chiranjeevi's fingering into the script. Only Koratala should tell how far this is true.
Keeping that aside, the trolls are so viral that it never happened before for a Chiranjeevi's film. Looking at the situation, it looks like the film became a scapegoat for politics.
TDP fans hardly like Chiranjeevi's films and they generally come forward to troll. Lack of positive terms between mega family and YSRCP due to Pawan Kalyan also distanced this film from that section of audience.
It should be note that the films that were made with NTR and Balakrishna, ANR and Nagarjuna, Mohan Babu and Vishnu also were flopped.
Because, the old heroes don't sacrifice their artificial younger looks when they act with their sons. Playing the roles that matches with their real age is required for senior heroes especially when they act with their sons. Though the character on the screen is not a father, the audience come to theatres to see the chemistry between the characters of father and son duo.
Balakrishna portrayed the aged role in 'Akhanda' that made the film a hit. Had he confined to play only the younger role in that film, it would have flopped.
The generation that enjoyed Chiranjeevi's films when he was in prime are not the real patrons of movies in theaters today. The younger generations are not at all showing interest to see aged heroes.
Besides, the concept of naxalism in the storyline also marred the film. The present generation hardly knows about naxal movement. Many films have come in this backdrop some 30 years ago. But it's a obsolete stuff now.
On a whole, there are many reasons for 'Acharya' getting worst talk. We have to see the actual commercial result of this film which will be known only after 4 days.
