The ruling TRS in Telangana which is accusing ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh of resorting to 'data theft' of AP public and filed cases in Telangana on the accused, seem to be falling into its own trap.
Videos showing proofs on how TRS resorted to 'data theft' of TS public for electoral gains in recent TS Assembly polls have gone viral on social media causing huge embarrassment to TRS chief and TS CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and his son KT Rama Rao.
TRS have devised an App called "TRS Mission- Call Campaign" which is very much similar to TDP Seva Mitra App devised by IT Grids, which is now accused of data theft.
All the personal data of beneficiaries of TRS government schemes were shared on this App and was circulated to over 50 countries.
TRS has also devised a special website "www.trsmission.com" along with App.
TRS volunteers contacted beneficiaries through phone numbers using this data and asked them to reveal which party they would vote for.
Opposition parties accused TRS of removing lakhs of voters who told they would not vote for TRS similar to what Opposition parties in AP are accusing TDP of deleting votes opposing TDP.
Both the website and App of TRS were active till recently but were removed from the internet after "TDP data theft case" came to light this week.
TRS removed App from Google Playstore and also website was made non-functional.
This gives suspicion of TRS also resorted to 'data theft' for political gains like TDP.
It remains to be seen what turn the TRS data theft case will take in the coming days.
