Siddhartha Medical College Vijayawada Alumni living in United States of America joined hands and raised $55,000 to support the efforts of Andhra Pradesh government to rebuild Vizag city and its surrounding regions devastated by monstrous cyclone, HudHud.
In an event organized on the morning of Sunday, November 16th in Dallas, Siddhartha Medical College alumni representatives Dr. Satish Kumar Potluri, Dr. Arun Mitra Kandra, Dr. Hima Mikkilineni, Dr. Vamsi Korrapati. Dr. Suman Ravuri, Dr. Vinaya Vennam, Dr. Sudhamayi Molakalapalli handed over the amount to TANA Southwest Representative Dr. Rajesh Adusumilli.
Dr. Rajesh Adusumilli appreciated the efforts of Siddhartha Medical College alumni in USA for raising the amount and for choosing TANA as the supporting organization for their fundraising efforts.
He assured that this amount will be appropriately disbursed to the Chief Minister's Cyclone Relief Fund.
Alumni representative Dr. Satish Potluri thanked TANA for their support and reiterated that they will continue to support and participate in the worthy social causes of TANA in future.
Speaking on the occasion TANA President Mohan Nannapaneni reminded the long time relationship between Siddhartha Institutions and TANA and Thanked all the Alumni members for the trust they had in TANA.
