Dubbing the 1,500-day Chandrababu Naidu term laden with corruption and nepotism, YSR Congress has said that the boasting of fulfilling 99% of poll promises is absurd as the election manifesto was pulled out of the TDP website as the Party would be exposed.
Former minister and YSR Congress Party leader Botsa Satyanarayana dismissed the claims of the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh led by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu with regard to development and happiness levels.
He wondered where the development was and which section of the people was happy.
“Corruption, irregularities and loot developed in the State under the TDP rule. Chandrababu Naidu is a bundle of lies. He claims DWCRA women got Rs.10,000 each. There was not a single recipient of this amount. Similarly farm loan waiver of Rs.24,000 crore. Where has that money gone? Where are the accounts?” he asked.
He also said that the claims of Rs 6 lakh crore investments during Partnership Summits in Visakhapatnam was false. Investments to the tune of merely Rs 4,538 crore were made, nothing more.
Botsa said that during the 13 years of TDP rule–nine years in the past and four years in the present term, not a single new industry was set up.
On the Polavaram project, he alleged that the State Govenrment sacrificed the special category status (SCS) of Andhra Pradesh for commissions through contracts in the project works.
