Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who filed his nomination papers for legislative council polls on Monday, declared the assets worth Rs 154.80 crore.
Of this his own assets are worth Rs 86.73 crore and his wife Rashmi’s assets add up to Rs 68.07 crore. The couple, however, don’t own a car, aircraft or yacht, according to the affidavit.
Uddhav owns immoveable assets worth Rs 62.59 crore, which includes agricultural and non agricultural land, apartments etc.
He has also inherited a 75% share in Matoshree, a house which was built by his father late Bal Thackeray. His share in Matoshree is worth Rs 14.50 crore.
He owns movable assets worth Rs 24.14 crore which includes gold, shares, bonds, fixed deposits, LIC policies among others.
While Thackeray has listed his occupation as social service, his wife’s occupation is listed as businesswoman.
However, the Thackerays together have declared cash in hand of just Rs 1.66 lakh.
The Thackeray couple have total fixed deposits of Rs 1.91 crore. The total worth of the shares they own is 2.88 crore.
No FIR is registered against Thackeray in any police station across the state, not even for political agitation.
