North Indian Firm: No Jobs For South Indians

A Noida-based consulting firm has come under fire for allegedly discriminating against South Indian candidates in its recruitment process.

The controversy erupted after the firm explicitly mentioned in its job posting that individuals from South India are not eligible to apply for a position.

The discriminatory clause has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with people condemning the blatant regional bias.

Critics have called the firm’s actions unconstitutional, citing the right to equality enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

Legal experts emphasize that such practices not only violate labor laws but also promote regional division and prejudice.

The qualifications asked by the firm are 4+ years of experience in data analysis and SQL skills, proven multitasking abilities, documenting business requirements, and fluency in Hindi, both verbal and written.

Additionally, there is a note stating that South Indian candidates are not eligible for this position.
