Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy has acquired a second luxury apartment in Bengaluru's prestigious Kingfisher Towers for a staggering ₹50 crore.
Spanning 8,400 square feet on the 16th floor, the four-bedroom apartment boasts five dedicated car parking spaces, setting a new price benchmark in the city’s upscale commercial hub.
The deal, priced at ₹59,500 per square foot, is among the highest in Bengaluru’s central business district.
Murthy purchased the property from a Mumbai-based businessman who owned it for nearly a decade, with Sadhwani Real Estate Holdings facilitating the transaction.
This marks Murthy’s second investment in Kingfisher Towers.
Four years ago, his wife, Sudha Murthy, bought a luxury apartment on the 23rd floor of the same building for ₹29 crore.
The exclusive residential complex is home to several high-profile individuals, including Biocon’s Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and Rana George, son of Karnataka minister K.J. George.
Located in the heart of Bengaluru’s UB City, Kingfisher Towers offers 81 ultra-luxury apartments across three blocks on a sprawling 4.5-acre site.
Each residence averages 8,321 square feet.
The 34-story tower stands on the land where Vijay Mallya’s ancestral home once stood, further cementing its status as one of Bengaluru’s most iconic addresses.
