The Congress party is gearing up to make Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s electoral debut a major event.
Several senior party leaders, including Congress chief ministers, will be present in Wayanad as she files her nomination for the November 13 bypoll on Wednesday.
Priyanka, along with Sonia Gandhi, has already departed for Wayanad, while Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge are expected to arrive by Wednesday morning.
The Gandhis and other Congress leaders will participate in a roadshow, followed by Priyanka’s public address.
Although the Wayanad seat is considered a safe one for Congress, the party is seizing the opportunity to showcase a strong show of unity and support to bolster Priyanka’s electoral campaign.
