Telangana Rashtra Samithi, which was a little perturbed over the municipal election results in the Telangana region in which the Congress had an upper hand, regained its confidence after the rural local body polls.
TRS leader Etela Rajender has exuded confidence that his party is sure to win 70 – 80 Assembly seats in the region and form the government in the new State.
He said said that in the Municipal elections, the party did not fare well, but in the ZPTC and MPTC elections, it bounced back.
He predicted that the TRS would win more than the magic figure in the Assembly elections. Over 80 per cent of the ministers in the region would bite the dust in the elections, he said.
“Our party will form the Government as per the wishes of the people and take up work relating to reconstruction of Telangana region,” he said.
He said the TRS would be in the forefront in solving the problems of the people of the State and it would work to win the peoples’ hearts. It would work with determination to usher-in ‘Bangaru (Golden) Telangana state.
