YSRCP Steers Clear Of Walkout Trap

There have been various media reports saying that Chandra Babu would be making a formal announcement regarding the new capital today.

So, the ruling party had a proper strategy in place to counter and control the pandemonium that was bound to break out in the Assembly.

Anticipating trouble over capital, they did their best to instigate the opposition MLAs by criticizing them. Though the ruling party tried its best to make sure that the opposition leaders would finally get up and stage a walkout, YSRCP members stuck to their stand and insisted that a proper discussion must be held in the House before a final announcement is made about the capital.

However one thing has become clear. The opposition is adamant about holding a discussion in the House and it is the duty of the ruling party to oblige them as it is a sensitive and critical issue.

The ruling party members should also realize that accusing YSCRP of playing an important role in bifurcation is passé. They must recollect that it was TDP which gave the ‘we support bifurcation’ letter.

Given this scenario, wonder why ruling TDP planned the ‘walkout strategy’? But it was interesting to see YSRCP seeing through their trap.
