Where the ruling TDP has made it clear that it will not participate in the bandh called by the opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh, though they have mentioned that they stand by the demand, the YSRCP has been taking the bandh very seriously.
To go ahead with their agenda, the party has also appointed special observers for the bandh which will be held all over the state on August 29, which incidentally happens to be Raksha Bandhan.
The observers will be responsible for ensuring that the bandh is total and successful. Another interesting fact is that the party has appointed some senior leaders for the job and these include – Babynayana from Srikakulam, Dharmana Krishnadasu from Vijayanagaram, Vijayasai Reddy from Vizag, Dharmana Prasada Rao from East Godavari, Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose from West Godavari, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy from Krishna district, Botsa Satyanarayana from Guntur, DC Govinda Reddy from Prakasam, YV Subbareddy from Nellore, Ananta Venkatarama Reddy from Kurnool, YS Avinash Reddy, Meruga Nagarjuna and Suresh Babu from Cudappah, Mithun Reddy from Anantapur, P Ravindranath Reddy from Chittoor.
It is interesting to note that two extra members have been appointed for Cudappah. The party will hold a meeting of all those assigned with the job on August 18.
