Will Jagan meeting be a success?

With Andhra Pradesh High Court giving a green signal to the proposed Samaikya Shankaravam public meeting of YSR Congress party headed by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in Hyderabad, the party leaders are now breaking their heads as to how to make it a success.

The High Court on Wednesday gave conditional permission to that party to organize the meeting scheduled to be held on October 19. The court permitted the YSRCP to conduct the meeting from 2 pm to 5 pm besides asking the party to take precautions to maintain law and order and not to deliver any provocative speeches.

However, sources said the party leaders expressed apprehensions over mobilizing crowds to Hyderabad for the Samaikya Sankharavam meeting in view of the sensitive situation. Since there would be no turnout of crowds from Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts, the party has to invariably mobilise huge crowds from Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra and they would have to incur the wrath of the Telangana protagonists midway.

Moreover, the party leaders are left with little time to mobilise crowds at such a short notice. That is why, party leader M V Mysura Reddy said the party is contemplating postponing the meeting to October 24 or 29 due to lack of time.
