It is a known fact that Chandra Babu Naidu is a shrewd strategist and plays his game well. Recently, a newspaper carried a report which claimed that Chandra Babu Naidu will be contesting for a Lok Sabha seat in case the Lok Sabha elections are held before schedule. It also claimed that Balakrishna is also likely to contest for the Lok Sabha.
As per the story, Chandra Babu Naidu is likely to contest from the Hindupur constituency or Malkajgiri.
Efforts are on in the TDP to convince Balakrishna to contest for the Lok Sabha during the forthcoming elections. So, there is a section which believes that such stories are being spread as a part of their game plan.
Two situations are likely to emerge out of this scenario. If Chandra Babu Naidu really contests from the Lok Sabha, there is bound to be talk about his not contesting for the Assembly. Also, there is bound to be negative campaign about TDP’s chances in the Lok Sabha.
The question here is, will Chandra Babu Naidu take such a risk?
