A last minute invite was sent to CM elect of Andhra Pradesh for the swearing in ceremony of KCR and Chandra Babu chose not to attend the ceremony.
However, he did participate in the Telangana formation day celebrations held at NTR Trust Bhavan. After unfurling the national flag and Telangana flag, Chandra Babu Naidu addressed his party members and said that KCR should have invited everyone.
Babu said he would invite all important people for his swearing-in ceremony to be held on June 8. It has to be noted here that Babu had invited the Prime Minister and union cabinet ministers for his swearing-in ceremony when he was in Delhi recently.
Babu pointed out that TDP was a party committed to development irrespective of whether they were in power or not. Telangana was developed during his term, he claimed.
It remains to be seen if Chandra Babu will personally invite KCR for his swearing-in ceremony. On the other hand, it remains to be seen if Babu will extend an invitation to the leader of opposition in Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan.
