Fresh from the resounding success of “Gautami Putra Sata Karni,” senior actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna on Monday announced that he would soon make a “biopic” on his father – legendary actor and former chief minister N T Rama Rao.
Balakrishna declared that he would enact the role of his father. He said that the script work was currently under process and the movie would reveal all the important aspects of his father’s life. All the details about the film will be announced soon.
The director of the film is yet to be announced and the team is in contact with his relatives collecting some important information about the legendary actor.
So far so good. The question is whether Balakrishna would focus on his father’s political career at the fag end of his life – how he was back-stabbed his own son-in-law N Chandrababu Naidu to usurp power, how Balakrishna himself played a role in the coup against his own father and how NTR’s own family members deserted him in the hour of crisis.
It is also not known whether Balakrishna would bring in the character of Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi, whom NTR had married her a couple of years before his death.
Let us see how sincere Balakrishna is.
