Why Was T-Minister's Building Not Demolished?

Telangana Telugu Desam Party leaders here on Monday lashed out at the State government over the issue of demolition of building structures in the Gurukul Trust lands.

Speaking to mediapersons, the T-TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Mothkupally Narsimhulu, Narsa Reddy and others asked the TRS government as to why it failed to demolish Transport Minister P. Mahendar Reddy building in the same area. They also demanded that the State government give an explanation in this regard.

The Telangana TDP leaders said they would stand by the victims of the TRS government.

They also questioned as to why the authorities GHMC felled the houses of only common people without serving on them any prior notice while the N-Convention Centre of Akkineni Nagarjuna was given a notice. They dubbed the government’s action over Gurukul lands affair as highly objectionable and atrocious.

They also alleged that the government willfully targeted the houses of the common people while not touching the houses of the influential people.

Stating that they have personally examined the entire issue of demolitions in the Ayyappa society, the T-TDP leaders demanded that the government take severe action against the officials concerned for remaining silent spectators while the illegal constructions were going on.

Making it clear that they were also against the illegal activities, the TTDP leaders questioned as to why the GHMC authorities spared the houses of influential people while they demolished the buildings of the middle class sections mercilessly.
