Condemning the method of survey of land for new capital, YSRC MLA Alla Ramkrishna Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrababu Naidu and the Singapore team were resorting to secret aerial survey of lands for the purpose.
He said the survey details were kept secret because the government was afraid of resentment by farmers, if the survey was conducted by road.
The Singapore team had conducted the aerial survey for the land in the areas coming under the proposed new capital such as Tulluru, Rayapudi, Nelapadu, Shakamaru, Yainavolu, Mandadam, Venkatpalem, Harischandpuram and Borupalem villages.
He said farmers had displayed black flags and black papers to the Singapore team. The YSRC was in favour of new capital city, but the farmers are not willing to give up their land for this purpose.
