Why is Speaker silent on burning of T-bill?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Wednesday lambasted Seemandhra leaders and APNGOs for disrespecting the Constitution by burning copies of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2013.

TRS Politburo member D Sravan expressed discontent over the inaction of Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar, Legislative Council Chairman Chakrapani and Chief Secretary P K Mohanthy.

“They neither responded to burning of the Telangana Bill copies nor asked the Police department to file cases against the culprits,” he said and demanded that the State Government initiate measures against them for belittling the Constitution and President Pranab Mukherjee.

Taking a dig at APNGOs, Sravan said the government should act stringently against the erring APNGOs for burning the Telagana bill in violation of service rules.

Accusing the leaders of acting in a mindless manner, he demanded that the police file cases against political leaders and APNGOs.
