Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has come under severe criticism for behaving in a dictatorial manner with regard to Social Survey on August 19.
Apart from political leaders, even common people are questioning why he is so stubborn on holding the survey on a single day.
Telangana Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Saturday demanded that the government conduct survey in three phases rather than at one go.
Conducting the survey in three phases will prove handy to both officials and people, he said, adding that single day survey will not serve the purpose.
There is no relation between what the CM tells and does, he alleged. “Let the CM deliver the goods to suit the expectations of the people. The people of the region are not ready to feel the meaningless pressure by the Government in the name of the survey,” he said.
Sudhakar Reddy also accused the CM of indulging in pressure tactics by pushing official machinery and people alike for social survey slated to be conducted on August 19.
